A close second to the design is the ease of installation. If you provide a plug and play wire harness I’d buy one. I’m not a fan of splicing factory wires.
agree with this

From the Amazon ad 5-11-24: "The package includes a plug-and-play wiring harness."

A plug and play connector on each side is the only way to go, amazing how the Amazon ad still says plug and play, obviously not correct................

after 3 days of sunny temperature I tought the moisture would go away as you can see below even getting worse and still no news from Mabett. In the mean time how do we get rid of this moisture? (without sending it back to Mabett)

Moisture is from overnight condensation that is happening inside. It easy to find out where the moisture is coming from. Get a bucket big enough to completely submerge the housing, tilting it around until you can see water seeping in. It will develop a little pool of water wherever the leak is at. Be patient, you will find it. If it is tiny, it will take several minutes, but if there is a hole, it will allow water in. Mark the area with a marker so you can remember where it is.

You have many options to seal and fix it with. I would suggest going to HomeDepot and looking in their tub and shower area for clear acrylic sealant. It works. I did this on aftermarket headlights I had for 2015 Prius. They started fogging up the first night I got them!!

Once you see where the leak is at, you will have to completely dry it out BEFORE you seal it. You can do this either by using a hair dryer (I highly recommend this method) or a heat gun. A heat gun will most likely melt something so be careful if you use one. One last suggestion is to place it in direct sunlight all day. The sun will get all the moisture out.

This is my suggestion. You do you. But my experience with afermarket electrical components has lent me to understand they most of them will come with some type of defect. If I can fix the defect, I fix it and then chalk it up as a success. Good luck to you!

thanks for taking time to answer my question. The only thing that worries me is that (compared to a car headlight) this side marker light has an internal led strip and wires so soaking the assembly in water not sure if it’s a good idea.

what was already done is to use a compressed air can and later an air compressor and push air around the assembly and where the wires are coming out while looking at the front face and hoping to see condensation moving but nothing.

I wish I could see a close up of the back side of these units. I do know that if the wiring running from the back of it is not completely sealed, it will let moisture in.

Is the condensation issue fixed on any new orders from Amazon, or are you replacing their light with another dysfunctional light?

I'm considering buying this from Amazon, but I live in Florida and the water damage worries me.
