My Maverick is on it's way home!

I ordered my 2024 Lariat hybrid lux and it is on the way to my dealer! My current ride is a 2006 Ridgeline that has been an incredibly reliable and comfortable pickup. At 18 years old and 130,000 it still looks and drives great. I will miss it but am looking forward to at least twice the gas mileage and all the safety features of the Maverick.

Mine is like yours, it's riding the rails on its way home. The tracking tools say mine left IL last night on its way to VA. The order tracker has my delivery date between 2/3 to 2/16. Hopefully it will get to VA in the next day or so and then it's about 70 miles from the rail center to my dealership.

Same here but ordered 112/1/24... still at railway in Mexico, schedule for delivery 2/11 - 2/17.

My dates are almost exactly the same. We may be on the same train as far as Kansas City, that where mine gets off.

I have a perfectly good 2018 Ford Edge with 111,000 miles on it. Minimum recalls and service requirements except oil changes based upon Ford % calculator. I ordered the Maverick because I wanted a new vehicle and think Hybrid is the way to go. I am a retired Ford Mfg. Engineer and helped build engines from the 360/390 CID in the 70's until the 4.6L 3V in 2008 when I retired. I hope I will get m y Maverick before I have to get a brake job done on my Edge.

I agree the hybrid is a good choice for me too.
I wonder if you were involved in the engineering of my dads 1972 F250 camper special 390 c.i. engine? That was an incredible vehicle, very strong.
I have visited Detroit several times in the last few years and had a great time. We toured Deerfield Village, the Dodge mansion, Belle Isle, the Ford museum, the F150 plant and the Detroit Institute of Arts. I hope to make a trip back this summer.

I did notice that my delivery date was moved up a day to Feb 2-15.

That is your order number at Louisburg (0807) from the bottom of your window sticker below where it says rail. The only way to get the train car number is from the ford chat option or to call Louisburg and ask. I haven't gotten the train car number for mine yet either, sometimes the chat will not share this info. They will tell you where its at though and the ETA. Mine has been sitting at Nogales all week. The ETA has bounced backwards and forwards a few days, but the last time I checked it was 2/7-2/13.
