First i will story tell a bit, then i have some questions.
I drive mostly hiway, 100 to 150 miles a day. I'm a commuter and i am 10 and 20 miles from banks and grocery stores for my personal needs. My tremor is for those times when the hiway goes bad. I did give it a little off hiway yesterday on my way to work. I pulled into the L shaped driveway for a park by a river. Down hill a little bit, then tried a U turn. I had to stop and back up. It was a deep ditch on the inside of the L. I backed into it deeper than i normally would with my 2 wheel drive rangers. It pulled right back up on the gravel. Then when leaving the park for the hiway it was pretty rough. Some decent depth and width ruts in the gravel. I was about to hit the gas, to get some speed cause there was traffic coming in the distance. Then i remembered i had an open bottle of cold brew coffee. I had a little speed, not sure cause i wasnt looking, but i hit those ruts good and didnt spill a drop. Its got a good smooth ride. Then i gave the gas a stiff push. I dont do that much. I've been easy on it, and that motor sound does roar. Not like my cobra, but its good, and It sounded real to me.I got a good smile and a laugh out of it. I swear that motor sound makes me drive slower. I couldnt hear the motor on the 2022 xlt, fx4 i had, just the turbo when pushed.
I found a tiny paint chip right in the middle of my driver door yesterday. That was BEFORE I went to the park. I am telling myself its rock chip, but that wasnt my first thought.
Anyway, it rained today, and i couldnt even see the chip with the water beaded up. I might have a painter take a look, but its so small I hate to make it worse.
I am still not used to the brakes.
Does the tremor have different brakes than the fx4?
Would there be any computer control that would make it feel different for its off road functions.
Does off road use generally have a different feel to the brakes compared to something like a mustang for street use?
Do tremors have any computer learning , adapting for your driving style? I'm not sure of the terms, but if you drive like an old man, will it be soft like a luxury car? because i've been driving like an old man. Up and down the road, cruse control most the time. If you drive like a 30 y.o. with a cobra will it get used to a more agressive braking style?
Ps, i looked at the pictures of the door. I,, even I cant see the rock chip, its really one of those first world problems, and i'll get over.
