On my Blue AWD, it had stock seelies, I went up to an 18 x 8 with 265/60/18 Hankook AT tires. They fit perfect and did not rub at all. So that is the biggest you can go without modifying the suspension.
BTW - the tire & Wheels are available.

Whats the offset of the new wheel compared to a stock alloy?

I’m planning to put Some Falken Rubitrek A/T 265/60/R18 tires on my new ‘24 XL hybrid. Can anyone confirm if they will fit. I saw an earlier post about people with various tire types on their mavs and saw one with those tires but not sure if the hybrid XL might sit slightly different.

They should fit, but I have to warn you that the MPG and the acceleration will suffer.
As stated above, I had those on an AWD EB. (I have not tried them on my Hybrid).

My cyber orange hybrid has 18 x 7 Mach-E wheels with (47.5et) Michelin 235/60/18 tires. only slightly larger than stock. I got 47.5mpg average for the 1st 1000 miles.

Way too wide.

I have an XLT Black Package with 225/60R18s I think they are too narrow looking. I would also like to go with something larger. Will the 245s fit?

any suggestion on size? Could I run a 255/70/18R?
The general rule for these trucks is 245 on width regardless of the rest of the size of the tire beit 17's or 18's. Anything more than that is way too wide and not worth the trade off in loss of MPG's. For your 18's, I suspect it would be close to a 245/60R18.

That is essentially the same size as my 245/65R17's. Keep in mind, it's not just the MPG's you lose, but it's stress on the drivetrain as well. These trucks don't handle that stress well as there are tons of reports of CV issues from the factory already with stock setups.

Being that you are in a FWD hybrid, I have to ask what the need for such large tires is for. Are you going with A/T's? Because if so I think, and I think a lot of folks would agree, that if you go anything over 245/60R18 or the equivalent in 17's, you are going to regret it. If you want a a meatier tire and are looking for the off road look, then 245/65R17 will achieve it. But in all honesty, and as someone running 245's currently - the sweet spot is in the 235 range - for your setup 235/60R18. I assume you are also planning on keeping the stock 18" wheels? Because if not then I'd definitely go for a 235/65R17 instead to get the extra sidewall. It's the perfect size for these trucks and FORD did a decent job of getting it right from the factory. Even on the Tremor's they look great. When my 245's are done for if I still have the truck, 235/65R17's are going on.

Also, can't recommend the Wildpeaks enough. Without a doubt the best tire for your buck, but others have ran slightly cheaper options that are decent as well.

As a Tremor owner, I would like a little beefier tire - I would like to go up to 245 when my Falkens go but I am only going larger if I can reduce the total weight of my tire/wheel combo over the stock Tremor set up. Otherwise, I'll stick with the Wildpeak AT3Ws as they are a nice tire.

The tire thread is an unorganized disaster too... I'd love to see a spreadsheet of tires sizes and weights in a forum like this. Something they had lying around on the Tacoma forums from the off roading groups and there is a set of wheels that reduced weight by a couple pounds from the stock ones... granted, they were an anodized blue only wheel, but still cool. I'm sure there are wheels out there that look good on A/T's and fit the Maverick while reducing weight, I just haven't cared to look. I know my wheels are, well, let's just say "odd" with their choice of dual valve stems...

Very helpful info! I do not plan on using the stock wheels and yes looking at going with the wildpeaks likely. Want a good look and a good winter/snow/rain tire. Thank you for the time to write all of that
