Added some bed lights to my 2022 XL -
Didn’t want to
Spend the $200 plus on Ford accessories bed lights - these were $28 on Amazon - water proof - LED - tapped into 12volt bed source - they work real well

Nice clean install and they are out of harm's way as far as loading and unloading the bed and they won't shine in your eyes. Thank you for sharing1

The lights will operate for about 30 minutes after the key is cycled off that 12 V bed circuit is on a timer module - it probably would be nice to be able to turn them on without activating the key once but then you risk draining the battery down If you inadvertently leave a light on and there is no timer module to power down the system so I am OK with that.- it works well - hope that helps

There’s a little square plastic access port on each side rear of the bed , pop that cover off and there is an accessory two wire 12 V connector that is powered by a timer module - you can use that 12 V source to power accessories that you might add to your Maverick like the bed light - you can’t see the wires because I drilled a hole for the bed light wire to pass thru - you can see those little black plastic access covers in my pictures next to the bed lights
