Fender flares and mud flaps - can they be installed together?

So I had basic mud flaps installed from the factory for my 2023 Maverick Lariat which I received 2 weeks ago. I also paid big bucks at the dealership here in Delaware for Satin fender guards to be installed.

the dealership called and said that I had to pick either the mud flaps or fender guards but both could not be installed together. Ford said that if any modifications were to be made by either me or the dealer the warranty would be null and void as the fender flares are considered an aftermarket product.
So sadly I think I’ll be forced to return the fender flares.

has anyone else had this problem? Advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

That sucks! I have both. I just installed them last weekend. My flairs are Mabett about $100. and the mud flaps are from ebay about $36. Installed them myself, pretty easy.

Update: Hey Dan, Welcome to the forum! I see you have been here a while, but 1st post. Congrats on your new Maverick! You have to post some photos of it (or nobody will believe you have one). Good luck fixing it up and making it yours! Lots of good ideas & help on this forum.

Sounds a little sus to me, I have flaps but not flairs.

I do know not all flaps and flares are compatible. Mabett for example designed their flaps to work with their flares.

Those fender flares are nice. Also the bug deflector. Did you sand the rough edges on the flares? How was the install? Fitment issues?

Thank You! yes I did sand the edges and I did have some minor issues. I also installed mud flaps on top of the flairs.
