Finally got my LEER Topper 180XL

Its a 180XL. And if you think ordering a Maverick from Ford is an ordeal, try ordering from LEER. I ordered it with all the options, including a removable sliding front window and keyless remote and I need to note that LEER accepted the order.

After 8 weeks (two weeks late) it showed finally up with a removable front window and no keyless remote. It was only then that LEER said they don't support the removable sliding front window on Maverick's and don't support keyless remotes on any Ford. Then why did they let me order it?

SNUGTop does support keyless remotes on Ford's and for a couple hundred I can order the kit from SNUGTop and retrofit it on to the LEER.

Here is the real kicker, SNUGTop and LEER are owned by the same company (LEER Group) and apparently the engineering teams do not talk to each other.

$3495.79 including tax with headliner & dome light. When I got mine they did not offer a sliding front window, mine is removeable. A complained to Leer and they said it will be available in the next year or so. They are giving me the automatic lock/unlock option ( get that in 2 weeks) that is wired into the Maverick.

I would have your dealer call Leer. That's what my dealer told me to, but when he went to order it, Leer told him it was not a valid option. I took it all they way to Larry Colestock (President of Leer Group) and he confirmed they list it but it was not available but maybe available next year, the only option was the takeout window which I got. Which is why he gave me the remote lock. But if it is available now, great for you.

Oh I saw this one on the lot in person and it has the sliding folding window in it already. it's even the right color Black but my truck doesn't come in until 15th-25th. they had a second one there but it was the snug top version no sliding window in it. Im hoping they still have it when I get my truck

It is supposed to be installed on 10/15, I will after it is installed. What I am told is it is the same as the SNUG Top remote unlock and wires into the tailgate wiring.
