OXFORD WHITE Maverick Photos Thread

I took my time with the build (around 3 months?) so I just thought I'd share with you all where I am at. Very excited to get out on the road and test out my new toys. I am located in the Valley in California (Northern California) so if you guys have any nice spots for me to check out I would truly appreciate it!

Yep. Really like new carbonized gray too but oxford looks great with BAP. Best vehicle I've owned.
Is that the same tint as the back windows? If so do you remeber the %?Oxford White Maverick XLT looking great with some window tint.

Just got confirmation that my 2023 XLT shipped yesterday 7/12 with mid August delivery to dealership. Live in Georgia, so wanted white to help with summer heat. Plus I just love the color.

Indeed you are so correct. I originally ordered an Oxford White, but then I was so anxious to get one that they had a Shadow Black one come in that they guy didn't want. Matched all my specs except the color. But man that thing was so freaking hot and so hard to keep clean. This Oxford White is just so much more pleasant during all this heat and keeping it clean is like 90% easier.

Black is the worst…..
I hate getting into a dark colored vehicle that’s been sitting in the sun for a while and immediately breaking out in a sweat due to the extreme temperature inside. And if it has a black interior, ugh!
in addition to all that, it shows scratches more than any other color.
I got my front windows tinted the same as the factory rears, 23%, with a good ceramic film which reflects a lot of infrared heat.
That, coupled with the white body has made my truck very comfortable to get into even after sitting in the sun for a couple hours at 90 degrees.
I also like the look of darker windows on a white vehicle. Many people have tinted windows all around on their white rides and the look has grown on me.
Was a little worried about visibility but is hasn’t been an issue at all. Totally worth it.
People who don’t like white vehicles have usually never had a white vehicle.
And… since this is the Oxford white thread;
I really, REALLY, liked the Area51 and Cactus grey when it came out intially. I probably would have ordered one of those colors if I’d had the chance.
Now, after seeing them for a while, they are looking dated, and, dare I say, even a bit cheap? Several other manufacturers are doing variations on those colors which look really weird.
I think these colors are going the way of Chevy Teal. I wonder if Ford dropped them because of fading interest.
I sort of liked the yellow until I started noticing other school bus yellow vehicles from other manufactures from past years. They look really wonky now.

I never tinted the front windows before, just left them stock with the darker factory rears.
Like I said, I started seeing the full tint cars around me and said to myself, “You know, that looks better”
The radiation blocking is huge, didn’t realize how much difference it makes.
Although I don’t have anywhere near a Limo tint, I am also enjoying the little bit more privacy that it gives. Society isn’t getting any nicer and keeping people guessing can be a good thing if you know what I mean.
