New delay email while "in production"

Got this at 6:47 pacific time.

Just yesterday I was told by marketing that I'm in the paint shop & nothing on my build is constrained so I'm really confused right now. I'm now second guessing my decision "not" to order a 2024. Gonna reach out to my dealer when they open this morning. A sad day for sure

I just got the email as well. I am hoping it is just an automated email that happens if it is in production too long... But the factory is closed down for 2 weeks, so nothing is happening right now.

You & The Wizziard both said the plant is down, that seems reasonable since my production has stalled. Do you know the reason for the shut down and the duration? Just trying to keep my head on, on this rollercoaster ride.

I dont have inside information, but have read on this forum and others there is a 2 week shut down for vacations. The whole plant takes vacation at the same time. This forum didnt see any builds schedule for the 8/7 or the 8/14 build weeks. Personally, mine was scheduled for week of 7/31 and bounced between 8/3 and 8/5 then settled on 8/5. I got my window sticker, but the car modules are not populated yet, so i know it isnt built. I got the same email though, and would be very disappointed if that is why... my tracker currently doesnt show a date of in production, just a green dot. Is yours the same?

This exactly how my build is going with the exact dates, no modules as well as green dot. On my window sticker, top right just to the left of the vin# my place in line shows 1743/3952. We should keep in touch when things start to move again.

Mine says 493/990... Must be coming down a different line than yours... but glad to hear that the scenario matches. That gives me hope!

I got the same email and was scheduled the same as you were, mine is also just showing in production green dot and has been for over a week (even though their note says it may take a few days to build) but last update listed was 8/5/23. No surprise to me that Ford would tell you that you are scheduled for production during weeks the plant is shut down, if there is any way to screw things up more than they have already, I am confident FORD will find a way to do it!

It seems there are going to be a lot of us with the same scenario. I guess I can look on the bright side, I wasn't singled out. Good luck to all of us waiting for production to start back up.

I got the same email with my dates all matching as well. I just looked and my place in line shows: 536/990 so I guess my truck is not far behind yours

Got the same email, my place on my window sticker is 1964/3952.
If they are closed for two weeks I’m glad it wasn’t built the week before everyone went on vacation. Would have been nice for ford to say in the email that hey our employees all take vac leave at the same time sorry. Instead we get the same tired excuse blah blah supply chain.

Dear Ford,
I understand that you only want me to buy a $60,000 F150, but that’s never going to happen. Due to terrible government policies my money isn’t worth as much. Now I know you pretend to want my money since you’re 3 billion in the hole this year, but I don’t think that you are serious. Your are right it is frustrating to wait a year or longer for a cheap small vehicle.
Rest assured that if you do end up building and shipping it, it will be 45 years before one of my descendants even considers one of your vehicles.
