Just did the paperwork for my carryover 23-24 MY. Total cost went up $4500. XL Hybrid base MSRP went from $20,995 to $24,990, plus $495 for red paint. I thought at one time that I’d rather wait for the 24 this close to the end of the model year. Now I’d be tickled pink if my 23 gets built in October. If not, I hope Ford does us right on the carryover “private offer”.
Don't hold your breath. Private offer is on base price not options or packages since they didn't go up. It is still undecided what they will do about the hybrid price for rollovers.

I just spoke with my salesman. Prior to this morning he was under the impression that the order banks were opening today at 3PM CST. He was told this morning that they may not open until Wednesday. Anyone else hear something different?

I also just built my 24 XLT like I have my 23 configured and I think I am not going forward with a 24 rollover and roll the dice on my 23 order. I thought I wanted to go up to a lariat but once I saw the price, there are other vehicles I'd want for 40k. At 30k for my 23 XLT, I am comfortable with it. Will I get my 23? Who knows but if I don't, I'm good.

As of 3 hours ago, my dealer said it was opening today at 4:30 EST. However, I don't trust their answer. I'm just waiting to see if anyone is actually able to get their orders into the order bank so I can go back to the dealer.

Yea, I was comparing my 2022 Lariat Lux Hybrid to a similarly equipped 2024, and unless my memory is failing me (pretty good odds), its about a $6k price difference. I guess all those price bumps along the way really add up.
I did a similar 2022 to 2024 comparison and found the same to be true for my '22 truck. Warts and all, I'm glad from a financial standpoint that I got my FE when I did. I wish everyone hunting a 2024 good luck!

Yeah, that’s pretty much what the salesman said. But the hybrid option is built in to the base MSRP. With EB, the base MSRP is $23,400….Hybris base MSRP is $24,900.. Therefore, any private offer reduction in base will be at least a partial rebate on the hybrid or the $2500 XL price increase (round numbers).

Configuring my Maverick the same way but with a different color (which I chose Terrain) the total is $36,450. My 2022 was $35,062 which included the Luxury Package and 360 Package. So the '24 price with those packages standard only jumped $1388 which isn't terrible but an increase regardless. And it's not like you get any added features that the '22 and '23 didn't have such as ventilated seats, memory driver's seat, or a bigger touchscreen. The only benefit is that if you're looking for a Lariat trim but don't want to worry about adding the luxury and 360 package, it's okay because they're now standard equipment. You do pay the price for it since the starting price of a Lariat jumped by about $4,000! And I get not everyone wants all the bells and whistles. Some may just want a basic Lariat that has enough of what they need and to keep the price down. But if I wanted to order one again, it would be feasible but there's just no point since it's essentially the same thing but with different colors and a higher price.

Side note, I do like the look of the new Terrain color. There's been some backlash regarding that on the forum but I think it's a great choice since other manufacturers like GM, Nissan, and Toyota were and are still offering a similar shade on their off-road oriented trucks and SUVs. It only makes sense to follow the crowd. And it's a very popular shade too since it's bold, blends in with the desert, and easy to maintain. I also didn't think I would like the skull caps painted black but it's a nice contrast that matches the rest of the black plastic trim. I was under the impression they were going to have the caps plastic black like on the Bronco Sport but according to the configurator, they're painted black. What would've been nice though was to add Eruption Green to the color pallet. That would've been a smash hit!

The way I look at it is they should of had the hybrid at a higher price from the beginning like all other cars. But marketing won to get sales. Now the price reflects part of what the extra hybrid cost is.

From Ford's perspective the XL went up $805.

For my Hybrid XLT Lux that started out $27,455, became $28,770 when built, the new 2024 total is $32,965! $5510 more than original 2022 pricing. Yikes!

Last week dealers were waiting to hear what time the Super Duty order bank was opening today. They said Maverick was opening at 4:00 EDT but could be later in the day. Super Duty trucks are also popular so if they open earlier in the day I could see problems.

Did you go through the order guide to see what is available? The price guide? The build tool? Since managers or specialists enter the order the salesman has limited insight. Depending on the size of your dealership it may take them 3 days to get the orders in since Super Duty truck orders also start today. The important thing is to get an order in. It can be modified afterwards.
I did use the build tool and everything seems to be in there. Like you said, the important thing is to get an order in. But right now it's based on the word of the receptionist at the dealer that my previous order will be converted over automatically and I will get an email in the next 3 days. I have no way of knowing when this automatic order conversion will or does take place before the order bank close again.
