Hallelujah finally got production start email

Finally got the email to say they are going to start production on August 21. I ordered my XLT Maverick September 16, 2022. I chose to go with gas as I keep my vehicles for a very long time. I bought my 2005 Pontiac GTP brand new and it still looks and runs great. The Mav will probably be my last new vehicle. So excited!

My current car is even older than your well maintained Pontiac. I expect that my Maverick will feel like an alien tech spaceship by comparison. Automatic braking. Stability control. A half dozen airbags. A touch screen. I don’t know if I’ll keep mine forever, but I plan to pamper it with wash, wax, being garage kept, and better than by the book maintenance.
