I am selling my SnugTop. Lived on my truck for a little over a year. It’s Area 51 in color, no flaws that I know of whatsoever. It was dealer installed, but I used the instructions to properly remove the entire wiring system. The only thing you’ll need to install this is a new set of seals to go on the bed rails and the cab rail unless you want to try using new adhesive on the old ones (which may work). The old ones are in a bit of a ball, but they didn’t tear in the removal. Ford recommends new ones if you remove the top. You do need to be comfortable reconnecting two wires I had to cut (in the original install, you have to install a plug after routing the wires, but I lacked the tool to remove the pins from that plug, so I just cut the two wires…it‘s painfully obvious how they go back, and they live in a dry place when connected again).
I also installed a power locking actuator on it, and there’s a thread here with instructions on how to wire it in and it’s pretty easy to do while you’re wiring in the lighting anyway. Always worked great with the key fob that way. But I do still have both physical keys for it, too, and you can override the power unlock with those if need be. Original instructions also included.
