OK, spent the morning trying to get the vibration noise “the lug” and happily not able to do so. In all drive modes, the transmission shifted up and down smoothly and appropriately.

It’s gotta be some type of computer glitch, but whatever it is, I’m hoping it’s gone for good!
With your mentioning that you noticed the change with AC engaged……was it the first time you used the AC for the season?
I noticed the same thing with a rise in ambient temperature above around 40F or so. Could your experience not be so much related to AC use but a rise in temperatures seasonally.

Yes, it was the first time using the AC, it was 80 degrees that day. Today, it was in the mid 40’s and the truck was perfect.

In speaking with my son today (he has a’22 Lariat), he opined that perhaps an electronic upgrade was sent out thru the Internet. I’m going to speak with the service manager on Monday. This makes more sense to me than turning on the AC.

I hope everyone that has “the lug” gets it resolved and that my son is right about the update.

Talked to my dealerships (Harrington) service manager who confirmed updates are sent to vehicles and was not surprised to learn of my Mav going from unwanted noise / vibrations to running smooth.

Hope this VERY ENJOYABLE change has happened to everyone effected!
