I thought that spoiler just mounted with the already installed high-strength 3M tape ?

It called for and came with 3m polyurethane adhesive that I promptly ruined!

I didn’t read the instructions and opened it without having a caulk gun. By the time I got a gun that worked the adhesive was a goner.
