They weren't saying that they were not getting free items, they were saying, there is no way they are going to buy anything from that link, and I completely agree. Seems super sketch and likely is a data mining and selling app.

It's an app/shopping site, not "likely". I think I clarified it.

Just did a count, I bought 45 items from it since November 21st because of the promotion it is running. Can you find a single major online shopping site which doesn't analyze your shopping pattern? I don't want any site to push things like lingerie to me without any analysis just because I bought a few vehicle stuff.
