But my name was on The COVP And SmartVINVENT and on a direct letter to me from Ford saying I rated the offer…something is not lining up.

There are lots of private offers that are lining up with the converted orders. Most are based on the correct information not being in new order Zip/Name/or address. The @fordvideoguy has talk in detail about this and what you need to do. I suggest you look for his last two episodes on YouTube.

Be aware, it takes the dealer getting involved so good luck.

Thanks the Good luck..before I made the video I had talked to @fordvideoguy extensively and he said I did rate it. He told me the steps that my dealer needed to do to get me my rebate. I passed that to the dealer and they said they tried it and nothing was coming back. Pretty frustrating.

Ford customer service gave me the Private offer certificate number and I'm not yet into production. Did CS give you the certificate number beforehand?

Ford CS also gave me the private offer number. It was the Sales Code number plus the Order Code number from my order summary sheet. The 2 numbers that Ford Customer service asked for when calling about my order.

Congratulations on getting shipped. My hybrid XL has been built and waiting to be shipped.

I think you mean Ford Marketing gave your the cert, Ford Customer service is only available to contact via letter mail ..I’ve spoken to Ford Marketing pre-build, post-build, post ship (about 10 times now). They state only my dealer can fix the issue, because my info is not showing up with a cert number in my name.

Must have been nice to get the easy answer from Ford Marketing.. I’ve spoken to them 10’ish times and they keep defining me to my dealer.

I'm almost in the same boat. After my scheduled 22my hybrid order was cancelled by Ford and reordered as a 23my no emails from Ford and no record of the $2750 Transitional Private Offer.

The Ford guy Tim and the Ford memo both say the dealer needs to contact the Inventory Specialist to resolve this but my dealer isn't putting in that effort. I now believe that he doesn't want me to buy it so the dealer can flip it for $5k overt MSRP.

Im glad you got yours that is the way it’s supposed to and Ford Marketing (chat and number you gave) are authorized to give you the cert number if it’s in as it’s supposed to be, but they will not (“cannot” they say) help correct an issue and state only the dealer can fix things with “resources at their disposal”. So it’s a run around sadly

With all that in hand, tell the dealer calmly and Ford that they must come through. You have the power to take this further like to BBB and local media...bad media stinks...but effective.

What exactly are those steps? I'm in the same boat.
-Oct 2021 Order
-Scheduled for Nov then ultimately pushed to December
-Got a new build for 2023 rolled over and confirmed mid Nov22
-Scheduled for Jan build and no certificate in SV.

Dealer says the car needs to be built before it will show. Should I wait to see if they fix it or stop by and ask them to confirm the information is the same in the two orders?
