I could be wrong, but i remember seeing his etsy showed that they were only compatible with non fx4's, unless he came out with a different one.

Yeah his truck was non FX4 so I didn’t think they would do what I’m trying to do
BUT I just got home so I’m about to check it out

It says in the listing does not work with FX4 bumper
Shouldn’t be an issue once I just get around to messing with it
Figuring out the light switch is job number one

Let me know what you end up using. I feel like getting an oe switch or kit would be ideal. The ones I’ve seen look pretty bad. once I get my maverick back from the shop later this week, I’ll be wanting to do this mod shortly thereafter as well.

So I’ve got a love/hate situation going on right now
The H&R Super Sports ride awesome…. Hopefully they will settle some as the wheel gap is terrible
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build 646E21FF-136F-4A8F-A317-ED8F41C566C6

We installed the “normal” springs into the Scale coilovers as well, quite a height difference
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build 3676D9E4-882F-41A0-B6A7-2A992D52CE09

I can see why people are having no complaints about the normal version
Will wait a couple of weeks before I got back to the Scales (with normal springs)
Just going to enjoy a decent ride for a while
And for reference my blue truck that was stock height with the 20’s

From that angle it appears they are a bit higher than the escape hr springs that I run, what size tire are you running? I'm tempted to try the silvers coil overs people have been talking about, but waiting on more info on them.

Tires are 245/45
I’m hoping they will settle a little
Just remember a lower profile tire accentuates the fender gap

There are things being investigated right now that should get me to the height I want along with the ride I need

Oh, and while we had the wheels off I looked for camber wear…. Zero with 7500 miles of driving
However, both rear tires were worn well more than the fronts with the passenger rear being the worst
Not really sure why that one is almost worn out already
Evenly across the tire, I guess lack of ability to fully align them
Looks like I’ve got two new tires coming in my near future

@volksnuts Loving your build so far man. I decided to buy a used Bronco Sport Climate Control similar to what you did for my XLT Mav.
Everything was working fine but when I tried to change my drive mode, it would not switch at all. Even the screen didn't show the drive modes.
Did you have this issue with yours? Maybe cause I don't have the Lariat trim.
Here is mine for reference. I didn't buy the one with dual climate since I don't have that. I might have to end up messing with Forscan.

Not all builds will work
Several people on here had no issues with the Bronco Sport unit
I however was not so lucky… tried 3 different ones
Even tried to update the modules via the dealer and no dice
So I tried an Escape control unit and it works perfectly (knobs match too)
Luckily I’m pawning off two of my Bronco Sport units to my wife and sister since they both have 23 BSs on order

FYI if your build does not work with the BS unit there’s no amount of forscan tinkering to get it working

Ah okay. Looks like I am returning this one and getting an escape one.
I spent so long trying to switch the air circulation button and now I gotta switch it back lol.
Thanks for the response!

At least it’s an easy piece to swap out
Removing from a Bronco Sport is a pain

Future project teaser
I get to learn how to use fiberglass and bondo
I already know how to use a nibbler
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build B8AD66D1-23A8-4F72-8028-4A97F44FEDB7

(larger vent opening that will be functional and color matched)
Local lowrider artist painted these for me but I can’t bring myself to use them
Doesn’t really match the look
