Why are you trying to get rid of it? Can it really play videos on a maverick?

My phone seems to always need to be plugged in because the battery is always low. Yes, you can really play videos on the Maverick with it.
Yeah, I'm definitely interested. I looked at the convenience of not having cables flopping around and the "chore" of plugging in the phone. My concern is I might not always want to use CarPlay. Wonder if there's a way to turn the wireless on/off. Any suggestions?
