Yeah, well, it makes sense that if your products can't at least last until the end of the warranty period, then it could be costly for you as a manufacturer. And at the end of the day it's the dollars that decide everything.

That's what large companies do: shuffle the deck. These 3 should be enjoying retirement and hopefully their replacements will be able to make positive changes. Unfortunately, in large companies, the top managers are so far removed from actual operations that they are not the ones to effect change.
