After 51 months waiting I just received my
XLT HYBRID AREA51 color. Dealer honored
Price freeze and even gave me 36 month zero finance.
Long process but glad truck finally arrived.
I don’t know how the new ordering process for news cars will work. I was able to wait because I did not need vehicle immediately. That is not the case for many people. A person buys a car because they need the vehicle right ,away not a few months later. People will be buying more used cars. Immediate delivery.

Well it could be he was waiting for a manufacturer to develops a small truck 4 years ago and that is how long he was waiting.

People here were counting June July August 2021 months as wait time even though they didn't even start building them until September.

If I bought tickets for some event, then I'm waiting for the event to occur from the moment I decide to attend. I'm waiting to get in from the time I arrive. Not remotely the same thing.

Not really. If you order tickets for a football game that is a week away, your wait time is standing in line to get into the stadium.

Another example would be. If you go to a restaurant, your order for food begins when you give your order to the wait staff that then sends it off to the cook/chef. Not when you were waiting to be seated, or when you placed you dinner reservation.
