My work just received two EB Mavericks.

The engine troubleshooting crew in Atlanta retired a couple of old trucks, and replaced them with EB XL's. Over had a Lariat Lux hybrid on order since 9-1-21, and this is the first time I've got to sit in one.

I've seen a good amount of the plain jane white Xl's around. Ford pumped out tons of these for companies that ordered them in huge quantities

Fleet adoption is important for long term support for the Maverick brand. The market has been lacking an efficient small work truck for awhile. I feel for the people that are still waiting for their orders and see this as a bit of slap in the face from Ford, but without wide adoption to keep the assembly lines running in the future, the Maverick will be at risk of getting cancelled.
