I have a EB AWD with 4k slated for the Sept 20th build date, just wondering do any of you have ideas for badder ass tires once I replace the stocks?? I didn't get Fx4 b/c I'm cheap.

We know for sure 235/65R17 will fit. I'd bet 245/65R17 would work as well. Would give you just a bit more width and height than the 235/65 without having to trim or modify too much if at all.

Plenty of options in that size too. Toyo Open Country AT3 or Falken Wildpeak AT3W would be among my top choices.

It's a good looking size on the Bronco Sport, definitely the size I'd consider on my Maverick. 245/65r17 pictured below.

Just realized the suggestions I gave were both all-terrains.

If you're looking for a meaty, street tire, check out General Grabber UHP or Toyo Proxes ST III. They make those in a 255/60R17. Now that would be a meaty combo on some 17x8 or 17x8.5 (y)

Thank you! Those tires on the Bronco Sport would look great on the Maverick! Any idea how many miles out of those with freeway driving mostly?

The Bronco Sport looks a tad stuffed. I also have an Ecoboost AWD with 4K and ordered the optional wheels and 235/65/17 Wildpeaks. I think they are a good compromise.

255/60s are the exact same height as the optional 235/65s so I think that tire would be the ideal sport truck tire to add some meatiness without overstuffing. How long before Shelby comes out with a Maverick? First mod for my FX4 is tires, either 235/65s or 255/60s.

245/65R17 Toyo Open Country AT3’s for me. Will be going straight from the dealership to DiscountTire. They’re giving $400 for the factory tires towards my purchase. I have a build week of 9/13, will report back with pics.

Have you already checked with Discount Tire? Someone told me on this forum about 'new tire credit'. I would be interested in how this tire size works out.

Yes I have. I’ve purchased 4 sets of tires there previously and personally know two employees.
