JUST GOT OFF A CALL WITH FORD AABOUT MY DELIVERY STATUS

I just got off a call with Ford regarding the delivery of my Mav. I was told it is currently at a junction in Illinois and is due to be picked up by tomorrow to go to my dealer. That led to a question they couldn't answer. I live in Georgia and my truck is to be delivered to my dealer in Georgia. By them saying it is being picked up to send to my dealer does that mean a train ride to Georgia to then be put on a truck, or does it mean it is going on a truck in Illinois and coming to my dealer? Any thoughts or ideas?

If you look at your window sticker there is a four digit/letter code in the box titled Ramp 1. There is a thread on this forum that will tell you from this code where the final rail stop is for your Maverick. Seriously doubt that the final stop is in Illinois.....

Might depend on where the other trucks in the rail car are headed. By rail if all the other mavericks are headed to Georgia. If they have a truck load of mavericks headed toward Georgia they could leave earlier even on a milk run. But it could be possible your maverick could wait for companionship before it continues it's journey ???

My dealer told me that there are 2 other Mav's due in to him with approximatley the same delivery date.
