Shout out to my dealer

Just wanted to give a shout out to my dealer and let everyone know that there is still decent dealers out there. Just picked up my son's new velocity blue maverick. Other than us not being able to agree upon a value on his trade, they were top notch. Ordered on January 20, 2022 at x plan pricing. Received confirmation within 30 minutes of leaving dealership. Was scheduled 2 weeks later. Was delayed a few times but built May 25th. Dealership called as soon as it showed up. Delivery was no hassle. Honored x plan pricing, $750 offer at the time of order and didn't try to add anything, other than asking about extended warranty. Politely declined and they said ok. Was in and out in less than an hour. Not too bad for a medium volume dealer in central WV.

Big shout out to Elkins Fordland in Elkins West Virginia.

The smile on my son's face when seeing his first new truck was priceless. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

PS. It's a Ecoboost XLT AWD with the luxury package, full size spare and all weather floor mats.

Congrats and great looking truck! Your order is an exact clone of ours, but we did not get the luxury package. Looks like you have the drop in bed liner, which we ordered. I wonder how they schedule similar builds...our order went into their system on Jan. 3, 2022. We still don't have a VIN or production date. One thing that delayed us must be that we originally ordered a SIBL. The dealer called us about a month later to ask if we wanted to change that to drop in due to supply chain issues. I guess that doomed us to a fall or later delivery.
