I have had the BAK Revolver X4s installed for couple of months now. I like the cover a lot and would recommend.

When it rains there is some water in the bed toward the tailgate on each side - as well on both sides by the cab.

I installed it well - and have double the insulation seals up by the cab.

Just curious if this is something normal which I should expect (which is my feeling, yes).

Since this is my first truck and tonneau cover - I value the experience & feedback from all of you on this forum.

Thank You.

I get the same thing with my X4s when I wash the car with a high pressure wand. (It's not our season for rain here, so I can't speak to that.)

The amount of water is small, though. I put a rubber mat about 3/4 of an inch thick with holes in it (like the kind to relieve stress of standing) in the bed and I put anything that might soak up water from below on that. Seems to work.

Real Truck guys posted a video of adding weather strips to the tailgate. I also saw someone recommending putting a bright light in the bed at night and closing it up, then using where you see light in gaps to know where to add a bit more weather stripping. I plan on doing that when the Lund Tri Fold I ordered arrives.

Do you remember what type/thickness weather strip Real Truck recommends ? Looking for the video but can not find.

Thank You

Make sure you DM them or email for Forum pricing. They are going to get more money out of me eventually haha. Fantastic to work with!

Real truck also sells a Maverick specific rubber gasket that helps seal the tailgate $25.00
Thank You - Will definitely give them a call to get the correct one.
