Are you using Android or Apple CarPlay?Yeah can’t get the journey thingy to work any help?
I could use help getting My Journeys to work with the following setup :Are you using Android or Apple CarPlay?
From FordPass > Home > touch the pic of the truck > Driving Data > Journeys > How Do I Connect My Device To My Vehicle ..... this will provide the instructions. Android works with either bluetooth or plugged in. Apple CarPlay works plugged in, then you must disable CarPlay under Preferences on the screen's Home Page.
Do you have Sync 3 Infotainment system?I could use help getting My Journeys to work with the following setup :
iPhone iOS
CarPlay
Hybrid XLT
Nothing I do seems to work. I have disabled CarPlay in the iPhone settings. But that did not help.
I've attached screen shots to show everyone what I see in the iPhone Ford Pass App.

Maverick is Sync 3 I believe yes. How do you disable CarPlay directly from the Sync 3 screen ?Do you have Sync 3 Infotainment system?
If so, disable CarPlay from Sync 3. Make sure the iPhone is paired with Bluetooth. "My Journeys" should work plugged in or by wireless/Bluetooth.
Plug in the iPhone, wait to interface via USB, thenMaverick is Sync 3 I believe yes. How do you disable CarPlay directly from the Sync 3 screen ?
Thank You. I will give this a try tomorrow and report back. Much appreciated.Plug in the iPhone, wait to interface via USB, then
Turn on infotainment system (if not already on) > hit Audio (lower left button) > hit Apple CarPlay on left side of the display under the compass, the Settings for Apple Carplay will open > toggle Apple Carplay to Off. Keep plugged in. (see attached photo from FordPass)
At this point, you will need to drive to create a Journey (around the block or few blocks should be sufficient).
I discovered once the CarPlay has been disabled in Sync 3, FordPass Journey will record when iPhone is on bluetooth OR plugged in. You just lose the CarPlay display on the Sync 3 screen. Unfortunately, iPhone users have to choose one or the other. I used Waze as a former Uber Driver so I am use to viewing it from my iPhone, so not having CarPlay apps displayed in Sync 3 does not bother me, as it does some.
