It was stated elsewhere that Florida requires a license to sell Extended Service Plans. I didn't know that...

Yes, but if you wait and/or drive for an extended period (the Flood site asks if you are under 12 or 36 months, I assume it is probably 12K miles as well - they just ask for your mileage) it will cost more than buying it in the first year.

Bought my extended warranty yesterday. Worked with Brooke. She is a pleasure to work with. Grainger has the best prices out there. I know because I checked other dealers listed on this forum.

My dealer gives a lifetime power train warranty with all new cars, I don't know how good it is, also how do you get the ford pass can you get it before you get the truck

I think lifetime power train warranty dealers are very good at finding some reason to not cover many/any repairs. YMMV...

There are usually some hoops to jump through. But we have a program that works well.

Claims are few but usually sizable in cost.

I've been looking at the maintenance coverage offered by Ford. If I were to buy into any of the 100,000 mile plans (all years) is the 100,000 mile servicing covered? For the 8 year 100,000 mile plan you are allowed 13 visits under the 7,500 mile servicing option. When I projected that out to cover all the services on schedule, the 13th visit is for the 97,500 mile oil change.

If I were to request the 100,000 mile service at 97,500 miles would it be covered?

I do realize no one matches up the miles exactly with the maintenance schedule through the life of the vehicle but I would make sure that visit 13 is at no more than 99,999 miles to catch that 100k servicing!

Yes, you just need to make sure you have the 13th visit scheduled before 100,000. In theory you could use them all in 60,000 miles depending on your intervals. But if you try at 100,001 and it's your 13th visit, you are out of luck.
