Tonneau cover that doesn't cost a fortune?

I will be getting a tonneau cover for my maverick when I get it. Any tips on where I can get one without spending a fortune?

If you have a table saw.... My plan is to make a plywood tonneau, create a inner ridge out of 1x1's, use weather stripping to seal the contact points, rout the edges, and spray the whole thing with spray-in truck bed liner. If you have the tools, you could make a pretty cool hard cover for $150.

I went with the Gator SFX Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover as well and I really like it so far.

We also purchased our TruXedo Lo Pro cover from them and are happy with it and the price was pretty good. When we ordered it the price was around $425.

are you able put stuff on top of it? is it just as good as hard cover?

The Extang has 3 sturdy support beams but no they are not as good as the hard covers. Not a good idea to put stuff on top. Also the soft covers will flutter going down the road.

I have the gator and like it. They seem pretty much identical minus the gator logo.
