I have yet to see a HPR out here in Washington, maybe I’ll be the first! Mine is on the move finally after two months of waiting post build. I loaded mine up too but no ADM. I would have bought a Ranger instead but all of those on the lots also have a 5K ADM, and used F150’s with 100k miles cost the same or more. I’ve just had to wait it out. There was an XL for 30k in Seattle with a 5k ADM someone beat me to. Similarly a dealer I tried to buy from announced they have a customers canceled order coming in, it will get a similar bump. Impossible to avoid if you didn’t order it already. I’m sure I could flip mine for 50 but then drive what?

Wow. More than a few haters in the crowd tonight. Oh well. Haters gonna hate. I wouldn't expect XL or XLT guys to understand us Lariat/King Ranch types.

I wanted a small truck with all the latest creature comforts available. Willing to pay extra so I get a decent sound system, don't have to fumble with my keys, get all the latest safety features and don't have to upgrade the truck later on ETC ETC. Also willing to pay more so I can actually get a truck in model year 2022 instead of 2023 or beyond.

I'm also the kind of guy who buys VIP concert tickets, pays for speed passes at amusement parks to jump the line and buys 30 minute early access at the ski resort for 'first tracks'. The peanut gallery usually gripes about all that, too.

Those of us with nearly the same build (but not paying for $1000 tonneaus and $1000 moonroofs and $800 wheels and $6000 markups) really do appreciate the efforts undertaken by those trying to keep our vehicle values up while we pay $15,000 less. Excellent work! Keep it up!!
I'm not sure your math checks out. 15k less? Where are you buying a Maverick for 5k under sticker price? I don't think that's an animal that exists in the wild -especially when you factor in the taxes, title and registration like I did.

FYI moonroofs are the bee knees. At only 1k it's a no brainer add-on.

Attached is the dealer invoice for my Alto Blue Lariat Lux with FX4, 4K, etc. I paid 4% under invoice (7% under MSRP) at Chapman. No it's not $5k under sticker, but it's about $2.5k. I'd also consider mine "loaded". Only thing different is that I didn't pay for the $1k moonroof (just another failure point IMO) nor the overpriced accessories from Ford. My OTD price was $36,800.

You're just an outlier in this crowd. The Maverick doesn't tend to attract a lot of the "it's only money" buyers. Most of us tend more toward being "value shoppers."

You do you. Enjoy your Mav!

If OP is happy all that matters. . .I fear that the dealer adjustment might become the MSRP. It definitely is in the current market if you want a vehicle now. It might be like this for several more years.

Nearly exact same build as mine

Is yours for sale? Or can you find another one for that price? (I'm guessing the answer is no on both counts)

Again, very happy for those who pre-ordered and managed to pay less. I'm not the least bit surprised that some did. Those prices don't exist for anyone walking onto a dealership lot, however.
