Anyone looking for a Carbonized Gray XLT AWD w/ 4K and Copilot 360? (Sept. 11 order).

Just putting a feeler out there. The car I’ve been driving is dead. And need something soon. I put a $1k deposit down. I was super excited about the Mav, but this snow killed my 22 yo car.

Anyways, I’m willing to look elsewhere but want to try and get my deposit back. If anyone is interested in that build, I called the dealer and he’s thinking the allocation for it is a month out + 8 week transportation time.

Pretty sure the dealer won’t let you pick someone to buy your order as they had others waiting for it too.

Plus they will probably do the ADM to it.

I am in the same boat, my VW engine blew up in Nov and the Mrs. had totaled her car on 12/1…. So I have been watching all the trackers waiting only to get it updated to a later date.

Bummer. I was hoping it was possible. Need something sooner than that.

My dealer told me that Ford grades their dealerships and one of the things that they ding them on is if they sell a truck to someone other than who ordered it.

That stinks! Sorry to hear that you don’t even have a build date.

Been like 10+ years since I have been to Cairo’s but I will stop next time I am down that way!

I ordered from Harrisonburg Ford also— but in Nov. When I called last week they didn’t even give me the info they gave you! . Fingers crossed you get it scheduled or find something else!

Are you just trying to get your deposit back so you can move on and look for something else? I'm guessing it was non-refundable? You should talk to your dealer about it. The way the market it is, you should tell him you will keep the order in the place but want the money back and they can keep the order. They could make more than that back selling it themselves

It sure was. And you’re probably right. Didn’t think about it that way. Assumed they would just try to keep it.

Tell them you'll sell it yourself and make the profit if they don't want to. Unless they sell everything at MSRP, but not many are on the Mavericks
