Go to another brand and you'll find the same exact scenario. I know people who have been waiting on Honda Hybrids since last September as well. It's a byproduct of the current times and global supply chain situation. Also, they owe it to their stock holders to build more profitable trucks like the F-150 with a given amount of supplies over a less profitable truck like the Maverick. I surmise that this applies mostly to Hybrid trucks. I ordered my Ecoboost XL a few weeks ago and last week I was given a production date for March and this week I was moved to February so it's not like they are screwing over all of the less profitable vehicle orderers, they're just maximizing profits which they are required to do as a publicly owned business and I'm sure if you owned, say a contracting business you would prioritize a more profitable large job over a less profitable small job. It is what it is, no use in blaming Ford here.
