Looks nice any issues or suggestions for putting one on you can think of? 28 would be a heat wave its 7 here currently but luckily mine has been stuck in Missouri since the 8th so I don't have to worry yet.

Cover came today in box that looks fine but one of the plastic trim pieces that is near the latch/tailgate is snapped in half. Already called Bak and they are shipping replacement piece hopefully quicker than cover came originally.

Looks good! Hopefully was worth the wait. You can open and close the tailgate without having to lift the cover correct?

You can that was benefit of x4s over a few similar models. I just got mine on here it is definitely tight on the tailgate might be just be due to the cold or maybe I should get it slightly closer to the bulkhead, but it will do for now I can adjust it in spring if needed.

Got mine put on today, there was a lot of metal shavings on the cover itself other than that all good. Fitment was very tight

Yah mine was covered in metal also does the tailgate have to be slammed to latch on yours also?

Yes, tailgate has to be closed pretty hard, hopefully after some use it will break in some. I had to set mine as far forward as it would go so the tailgate would close, so the front weather strip is tucked under the back window. As far as the metal, I noticed on the underside every single slat has an indent or chip in it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be there or what.

Yah I have the same indents I'm guessing they do it on purpose to hold them together. My front weather strip is also tucked under the window I could probably slide it slightly more forward if needed though.

I got mine on today. Pretty much the same to install as the X2 I had on my F-150. My weatherstripping is tucked under the window too. I am happy with it. Glad I waited. At least I didn’t have to brave the cold to put it on. It was 70 and sunny here in Florida.

Anyone who installed their x4s. Did you use the supplied rubber seal strip on the bulkhead below the window?

Yah I used the thicker one since the instructions only mentioned the thinner one for drop in liner not spray in liners.

I read the instructions wrong and put the thinner one on by mistake. I am not going to change it unless I have to take it off for some reason.

I had the larger of the two on but it wasn't sitting right so I put the smaller one on and it looks like it's pushing the seal up and leaving a gap. I didn't know if anyone else had that issue. I was thinking about taking the other strip off and see if it would sit flat.
