My lifestyle does not allow me to wait until the roads are clear. I am driving in snow regularly. I think I am leaning towards the Michelin CC2. While they are an all season, they are also 3PMSF rated.
They are considered All Weather.

Counterpoint: all weather tires need to be rotated anyhow, so having a dedicated set of true winter tires on rims isn't that much more effort. Also you avoid all the compromises from tires that try to "do it all".
It may not be much effort but it adds $1000+ dollars to a tire purchase. I also would buy the CC's from Costco and they do free rotations.

Check out this months Consumers Report. They name the CC2s as tops!

I'm running these too, but went up a size to 235s. The AT15s are stable on snowy roads, and seem to live up to their 3PMS rating.
I went with 245/65r17 as my set up and they have been great in all conditions
