This looks like the same price as the Air-Topper but looks flimsy. I love my Air-Topper by @flated. My only beef is that there is no piece to cover the bottom half rear portion when your tailgate is down. I’m short and woul be able to sleep in mt Maverick if there was a piece to cover the back end.

Yeah something that comes down to allow sleeping would be really nice. I was personally planning on just getting a sheet of like tent fabric and and making my own that attaches to the top of the topper. Still tore on if I should get the short or taller version of the flated topper though. the tall has the pro of windows which would for sure be nice for camping in the back of the bed but man the shorter one just looks so nice and is better on fuel. So many choices lol. If you had to make the choice again would you go with the tall one or change it up?

Model- I like the tall one for everything you said. The screen windows are awesome. Gives much better headroom to sit up inside the bed. If you’re just using the topper to haul stuff around, the low one would work but if are going to spend any appreciable time inside I would go with the high version with windows.

Well I guess the tall one it is then. Though I am wondering with it sticking up past the cab have you noticed any impact on mpgs or an increase in wind noise?

I used a solid-fold Mostplus tonneau 363 days/year. It's easy on/easy off in 3m. Any soft or hard tri-fold would work great if you want to switch back and forth. I had a soft one prior, and it was too floppy on the highway (Gator)

I just bought the Flated tall topper and bought the Autosaver88 tri-fold tonneau from Amazon. The idea is I can use the Flated when we pull the camper and quickly switch to the tonneau once all the camping fun is over. Only time will tell how well this will work.

Does the Flated top seem to affect gas mileage? Thanks

Hey! I have the same tonneau cover and I'm hoping to get the a flated high top. Would you be able to post some photos of the fitment? I was hoping to see how it looks. Also, how is it in the rain or dusty roads with the tonneau cover still installed.

I appreciate your help!

It is not completely water-tight - but neither is the tonneau cover.

I was traveling / driving in dusty un-paved Kansas farm land roads and it did have a thin coating of dust on the sidewalls of my truck bed when I returned to Indianapolis.

Here is some links => here & here.
The tonneau cover was rolled up in the front of the bed.
