The Complete Maverick Experience - Order, Picture, Warranty Repair

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who talked me through the Maverick experience while I was awaiting my order. I took delivery of this gorgeous little truck last Monday, and the finalization was so easy I couldn't believe it. Got it home, took pictures - here's one below - and then... the rattling.

I was already getting it touched up, a few chips from the road on the way to the dealer, and they handled that, but I also mentioned at 35-45 or so the center mirror cluster would buzz/rattle. I mentioned that, they said they'd take a look, and we have a whole replacement on order now. The Ford Maverick, everyone!

I still like it a lot. And I appreciate everyone preparing me for the ride that it is.

Strange (but happy I don't) about all the rattles everyone is having. Have a 2024 I picked up a little less than 11 month ago, now with just over 15,000 miles. No rattles, NONE. No recalls (yet) and only one issue that I have to wait on cold weather again for the dealer to see if he can find. Extremely cold air leaks between the passenger door and the dash. Passenger has to boost the heat on that side just to stay relatively warm. My guess, door seal, but dealer says I have to wait for cold weather for them to look at it. Understandable....

In case anyone wondered, apparently the rear view mirror rattle is reasonably common. The dealer tried a few different new vehicles on the lot, including a Lobo normally kept inside the dealership, and found the issue was one they could duplicate across multiple models.
