Late 80's to early 90's. Back when it was scientists and cat memes and wasn't full of porn and politics.
Arguably some of the most traumatizing stuff I saw as a kid came from Napster and AOL. But yea, it sucks now. When you have to google "reddit" at the end of everything to find reliable results, it's a problem. The sad part is they are happy making it worse. AI will even ruin OS' (like, more than Windows has already ruined itself).

And it's what makes people (of sound mind) so cautious when ordering from random websites. Experience lol.

Cool concept. Website is aggressively suspicious, though. Up there with fordsync4...
There's no one website that tells you "legit" or "not legit." But there are tools you can use in conjunction with each other to come to the conclusion yourself.
The most useful is looking up the domain information. Every website has it. You can do an ICANN domain look up to see when the website was registered, who the registrar is etc.
Other tools are websites that keep a list of potential scam websites. Not as useful anymore since scammers open new scam websites every day.
You can use review websites and BBB to check prior complaints.
You can also just look at the website at see if it's a poorly made scam website: poor design, grammatical errors, missing/dead end links, template language etc.
For most scam websites, using one of these tools, common sense and a healthy dose of skepticism will be enough to suss them out.

Not sure why people are using the completeness of a website as the litmus test for the authenticity of a business. The web is full of fraudulent sites complete in build..
You say you’re not sure why this is a litmus test, but many people in this thread have already succinctly explained why it is, in fact, a litmus test. The business phone number is listed as 123-355-7890? The address listed is wix.com’s headquarters in San Francisco. The business owner(s) listed is not a real person. And to top it off, there’s dozens of other scam websites out there that use this exact same cookie cutter template that list the same fake address and same fake owners.

it would take the owner of this business 5 minutes to publish the correct business owner name, business address, phone number and email. 5 F’ing minutes. He’s too busy working on his design to be bothered? Or is it because he is afraid to give out his info because the business is not legit?

Go outside. Breathe the air. Take a walk. Go be with nature.

Riiiiiight. They didn't even bother to finish the website template, it has all the generic info still in it for most pages. No contact info or anything. Good luck to anyone who falls for this.
The also should get someone to spell check their page:

" We solve this by creating a flat service that can be customized to carry tool boxes, electric fridge/freezers, 'packouts', "

I do believe that they were trying to say "flat surface" NOT "flat service".

Maverick now has an aftermarket rear seat delete kit. Looks pretty good. https://www.seatdeletes.com/product-page/ford-maverick-seatdeletes-seat-delete-kit
Looks like MDF with some shelf liner on it to me. The plastic hinges on the “seat back” portion will catch on everything you want to put back there. I think this could be easily replicated by someone with decent wood working skills. Use flush hinges and some black automotive carpet and it would be nice.

i did a rear seat delete, gives me lots of dry storage for groceries etc. 2 foot by 4 foot 1/2 inch plywood, a rug, and two hinges,

and i used an exercise mat cut to fit the back wall for sound proofing. looks professional enough for me and i love the storage.
This is perfect. What hinges did you use for the wood? I'm looking to do the same thing for my Maverick.

Lmaoooo odds are it’s some guy with a mav and a little home shop that put this together knowing nothing about computers. That’s just my take though.

I just got one for my maverick and it’s a legit product. I thought the website was iffy too but it turns out it’s a dude with a very small team working on these and he just hasn’t had the time to spice up the site yet because he’s getting a decent amount of orders. I really love my kit and haven’t had any problems with it so far

Hmm...your single post is a positive review and you're from the same area where this 'company' is located. Seems legit.
