Just a heads up to all, that realtruck does in fact have the roll n lock line of products ready to ship.

I tried buying one from Roll n Lock directly and they said they werent ready to sell yet, nor did they have an ETA. However, they also said that they were supplying certain retailers first. The guy on the phone said he did not have a list in front of him, but offered realtruck.com as one example off the top of his head.

I ordered from realtruck (their expected delivery said sometime between the 20th and the 25th of November) thinking they may not actually have it in stock and that the expected delivery was a place holder.

But the following day, boom. Tracking number was offered and the product is on its way and should be here tomorrow.

So, just a heads up and I will keep yall posted on how it looks/fits.

I know plenty of you say 1.5k is too much for a cover on a 20k Maverick. But, the retractable is one of those things (maybe the only thing) that appealed to me of the Santa Cruz that the Mav doesnt have. So, what the heck, I ordered one.

Did you order through Alex at real truck? Mention the forum and you'll probably get a decent discount.

No, I didnt know that was a thing. I simply ordered on the website. Doh! It dd have 10 percent off though, so I wont feel entirely bad about having missed out on a discount from Alex. But now I know for the next order. Thanks for the info.

Just a few quick pictures I took with my phone that has a terrible camera. I am extremely pleased with this retractable cover. More details soon.

That looks great! Also the box that stores the cover looks much smaller than the cover on the Santa Cruz. Nice choice!

Wow, that does look good. I might change my mind about a cover.

That looks great! How was installation? I have the bed extender on mine, do you know if I would still be able to use it?
I had it installed by the same shop that did my spray in bed liner. Since I was already taking it in for the liner, I figured id ask if they would do the install. They charged me $50.

The plan was to do it myself... and I watched this video for instructions (some stupid joking around going over the video, but despite the commentary the video was good for the instructions). It seems doable:

As to the bed extender, im not sure because I dont have one.

Yeah, Roll and Lock is supposed to have the smallest of the retractable cases. It is the reason why I went with theirs over the Retrax model. I will measure it tomorrow, but I think it is supposed to be 7 inches.

It looks just about the same size as my rolled up hard Truxedo Sentry CT. I measured that last week and it was about 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide rolled up at the cab. A 7-ish inch box below the bed line is a great size.

Does Alex still work at Realtruck.com? When I sent an email to him ([email protected]), it comes back to me saying no such recipient...:(

Good for you. Look forward to seeing it and hearing your opinion of it.
