How did the install go, post pics. I still have my boo bar, that is what my wife calls it and I still like how it looks. Newest mod is new rims.My Broadfoot bar should arrive on Monday. I'll post when I've installed it.
Any issues with the radar box that their website says may interfere?follow up on Broadfeet bull bar after day three. My maverick handled spreed bumps and inclines just fine. I love the look of the bull bar and it works with the Keko sports bar.
I guess I actually missed that. I have an XLT, but I imagine it would also work for a Lariat because it most likely bolts up somewhere around the front tow-hooks. However, in these pictures, it looks like it goes under the bumper and not into where the tow hooks are exposed. There are most likely places to bolt it up to the XL. If I get it, I'll post about the installation.Notice: ONLY for XLT Trim!
Did you order this ? Curious if it works well. Thank You.I was looking at this brush guard from Amazon, much lower profile from the photos, but who can say?![]()
I pulled the trigger on this one & installed it last weekend. It is definitely for looks only, as the mounting is not to anything of substance on truck. Low speed impact okay but won't be much help at highway speeds for protection. I will admit I bought it for the look =). I did have to relocate the front license plate holder to in front of the bar. I spaced it out & used some stainless steel hardware. Hope this gives you some perspective!Did you order this ? Curious if it works well. Thank You.
None of the bull bars will work at any decent speed. The ones in this thread are for looks only.I pulled the trigger on this one & installed it last weekend. After a year with the broadfeet bull bar I still like how it looks and it has not loosened. It has been hit in a parking lot and has a slight tilt, unnoticeable to most but I can see it. Losing 2 3/4 inches ground clearance is still the biggest draw back but I have learned to go on an angle on steep inclines and go slow over speed bumps. Now that you have had it for a while are u still happy with the Broadfeet Bar? Has it loosened up or tilted?
Are the 2 spots (screw holes?) on the top of the bottom bar where the skid pad mounts or can u use those for light mounts?
Looks Great! Thanks
