FYI. The knob volume control should be on the right side for the passenger to have closer access to the radio volume. The driver has volume control on the steering wheel. Steering wheel is much safer control of the radio volume.
No passenger in my truck should be adjusting the volume of my radio.

Definitely should be on the left w here it is more convenient to the driver where as the PT features that will be used far less should go on the right.

My gf would like a word with you
I understand that, she turns it down sometimes and I like the ability if she wants it too, ie she gets phone call or something

Cal, welcome to the 2020’s, volume is more conveniently controlled from the steering wheel.

Gee it is almost like it can be controlled from multiple locations....

FWIW I put a 3rd brake light flasher on my 2010 Miata and also on our 23 Bolt EUV. The one I picked up from Amazon was a smart one. It does flash rapidly, but only for a certain number of blinks, and only when the brakes are FIRST applied - after that, as long as you are in a programmable time window, they no longer flash - just work like any 3rd brake light.

I had my time window for 30 seconds.. and also programmed the flashing sequence for 4 quick flashes then solid. The idea is to NOT be annoying in stop-and-go traffic, just get someone's attention when I first tap the brakes... 4 quick flashes when first applied, then regular brake light action unless I go more than 30 seconds - when the sequence would restart.

Worked great, especially on the Bolt EUV with the idiots at GM putting the regular brake lights LOW ON THE FREAKING REAR BUMPER of that car!!!!, and of course it didn't hurt to have it on the fun-sized Miata.

I don't think the Mav really needs it as it looks like there's plenty of brake lights and they're in the expected location.

I should be picking up my AWD 4K tow hybrid Lariat in a few weeks from Granger. I originally had a job-1 order with a local dealer, but when the pro assists were put back to job-2 I started a 2nd order. The local dealer wouldn't come close the Granger's price. I'll be getting a 10/100/0 with lighting rider extended warranty with the money I saved. I don't NEED the pro assists, but maybe one day someone else (daughter?) may wind up with the truck and will be glad to have them. Very little cost difference in the scheme of things as long as you can tolerate the wait from job-1 to job-2.

The knob volume control should be on the right side for the passenger to have closer access to the radio volume.
There should also be a button on the steering wheel to let the driver automatically smack the passenger's hand for the attempt!
