Please don't misinterpret this as trolling. Old guy here. Love the Lobo package. But my 5 decades experience in the car world tells me that the Lobo package will be the one that you find sitting on the dealership's lot and discounted by $2,500 or more in a year or two. I think they'll be a hot and rare vehicle until they're not.

Having said that, the popularity of all trims of the Maverick just keeps surprising me. I keep thinking supply has to be catching up with demand, and Ford keeps making me look like a fool. I'm cool with looking clueless, and I'm totally happy if the Maverick stays a hot commodity forever.

What do they do next year or two to surpass the Lobo package? I keep waiting for a really hot engine. Maybe a 2.3 turbo?

Hard to believe the Lobo doesn't have auto climate control, adaptive cruise, heated seats or steering wheel. I don't see the 400W 120v outlets on this list either.

The 2025 "Lobo" trim, reminds me of the late 1986 Ranger GT's.
They were more of a "cosmetic" upgrade (lower body panels) to the highest trim (XLT) at that time.
They used the top engine: V-6 and came only with 4-spd/ 5-spd trannys..

The LOBO, should have come with a 2.3L 4-cyl. That would have made it a unique "Sport Truck"

It would have been more money and people would complain about that also.

the lobo does have performance upgrades, it is not just a cosmetic package.

it has everything except more horsepower. after the low sales of the 23-24 Tremor I would guess Ford is hesitant to release a Maverick that costs 45-48k+.

I looked at some other Ford vehicles for prices...
The Edge ST is just $4000 more then the TOTL Edge Platinum..
So, a Lobo would be more $44,000-$45,000... But, it would still be a niche product...

Oh OK. I went looking for info on that package but couldn't find it. Still seems expensive because I got my 23 hybrid XLT w/lux pkg and moonroof for under $38,000 Cdn. Spent about 3 grand Cdn on my own upgrades (SIBL, custom floor mats. cubby adaptor, seat covers, mud flaps, hard tri-fold tonneau cover, front hood deflector and side window rain shields).

I'd order one first day, and I might still order a Lobo if a ST never comes.

Used i hope, base model is loaded model of a Maverick for a 25 MY
besides the obvious fact that a 2025 Ridgeline starts at 40k, they don't make one that is in any way similar to the Lobo.

many people who DO own Mavericks still have no idea what a Lobo is or how it's different.
