FITS System .blend file for adapter piece

I modeled an adapter (from a previous post) in Blender. I printed it and it fits. If you want, you should be able to model in Blender using the file:

This is just the adapter piece that fits into the FITS System in the Maverick. You can attach anything to this.

Looks like Blender isn't capable of that because the file is made of a bunch of mesh lines. Would another file format help?

obj is fine

What are the tolerances here? I notice this file is a singular width, but the fits connector actually tapers all over the place in width. Just wanting to make sure its snug as a bug before designing tons of stuff surrounding this connector piece.

Edit: I also notice this doesn't have the jut-out for the "U" (thats a shape, not the letter U, lol), so knowing where to attach to this adapter is difficult. Thankful for the design, but cautious.

It fits a bit lose. I copied it from someone else's file. I was also trying to experiment with making it a big thicker. My plan is to experiment with that over the weekend.
