Awesome. Yeah, ABS would be the way to go. I'm going to print some on my own in PLA, but my guess is that they will break over time. I'm going to see if 100% infill will make it more sturdy. My son asked for an iPhone/iPad holder for the back, so I made a gadget that do than, with a cord wrap. I...
Thanks! I have to be honest, my concern is with these prints standing up over time. Injection molding is probably more robust. I print only in PLA, which has a really low melting point and pretty brittle. Does anyone here print in ABS or Nylon? I can't because of the fumes.
Hi Everyone,
I'm going to copy and paste the dimensions I'm using right now in Fusion 360 to create a viable FITS system. If you want to experiment with the file, and help me develop the best fit for this model, that would be great.
The items thickness is currently 5mm.
All measurements are in...
It fits a bit lose. I copied it from someone else's file. I was also trying to experiment with making it a big thicker. My plan is to experiment with that over the weekend.

.most items will be too large for the average 3D Printer to print at full size. I don't think my Ender 3 could handle that divider or that large trash can. Not unless I...
I created an iPhone holder and the basic adapter if you want to try it:

It's also on Cults3D
Looks like Blender isn't capable of that because the file is made of a bunch of mesh lines. Would another file format help?
I can export to
.dae
.abc
.usd
.fbx
.ply
.glb/.gltf
.obj
.x3d
I modeled an adapter (from a previous post) in Blender. I printed it and it fits. If you want, you should be able to model in Blender using the file:

This is just the adapter piece that fits into the FITS...
