Maverick owners—quick gut check: are you running bare bed, spray-in, drop-in, or a bed mat?

We’re gearing up to launch a new Ford Maverick bed mat (ETA February 2026, fits well for 2022-2025 Ford Maverick) and want a few real owners to be the first to put it through the wringer. Spring’s around the corner: mud, wet gear, beach sand, mulch runs, and cargo skating around like it’s on ice. 🌧🛻

Why a bed mat matters (real-world stuff)
  • Grip: coolers, toolboxes, groceries, camping bins stay planted
  • Protection: cuts down on scuffs/scratches from daily hauling
  • Quieter: tames that empty-bed rattle
  • Easy cleanup: pull it out, rinse, done
  • and according to what other pals from our previous thread - a bed mat save your knees & pants: way friendlier to kneel on, less grime and snags on your jeans when you’re loading/strapping stuff

————————————————————

🎁 Giveaway:
We’re recruiting testers for the new mat. In return, we ask for an honest review thread within ~30 days of delivery (pics welcome; video if you’re feeling spicy). Please only enter if you can post in time. Thank you so much for your understanding🥰🥰

How to enter:
Drop a comment with one reason you need a bed mat. Bonus points if you include your Maverick year + bed setup/use case (camping, DIY, jobsite, dogs, etc.).

Timeline: Enter by: Jan 25, 2026

Winners announced: Feb 2, 2026 (we’ll DM for shipping info and get it out ASAP)

What we ask from testers: Post a no-BS review thread here after a couple uses (pics welcome, video if you’re feeling spicy).

If you’ve got a muddy spring coming, this is your chance to be first wave and tell the forum if a bed mat is a true game changer. 😎

Sound off below—how do you actually use your Maverick?

Just got my 25 Hybrid AWD. Traded a 24 hybrid. Used the 24 for hauling mowers and weed eaters to cut elderly people’s grass on the cheap. Had a spray in on the 24. Have not got anything on the 25. Was thinking a mat might work and would love to give it a shot.

2024 Hybrid XLT. Mostly a grocery getter but I also hauls my kids sport equipment as I coach as well and beds gotten some scratches this year and would be nice to have something to prevent more.

2025 Lariat Hybrid. I have the spray-in liner but like having something between it and the cargo for some cushion (the spray in acts like sand paper against whatever touches it including skin). I have 3 kids, so plenty of equipment to haul around.

I've got a drop in rubber mat, but honestly it completely sucks for my use case. I slide a lot of heavy stuff in and out of the bed of my mav and the one I have now has a tendency to bunch up at the back of the bed.

2025 Lariat. The Ford spray in appears to be tough on my dog's paws.

We're all about the dogs, aren't we?

Have a '25 Lariat hybrid with SIBL. But the surface is rough and is hard to slide things on it. Would love to have a bed mat that helps things slide easier getting in and out. Would use it for homeowner type activities such as hauling mulch, yard equipment, various crap stuff to the dump, etc.

I am a road warrior. I have racked up 34K miles on my 24 Tremor in 15 months. One trip from Phoenix to Alaska and back via the Alaska Highway, six trips between Phoenix and New York via different routes, and one trip to South Carolina. I carry supplies for my dog and me in the bed. I have been packing in plastic tubs and cloth bags to prevent rattling in the bed. Even with a roll-up cover, when we drive through wet weather, I like to keep things off the bed floor.

My plans for 2026 are to do Route 66 in both directions. Also, cross the northern half of the country from Oregon/Washington to Maine. I can give your bed mat a real workout.

2022 Maverick Lariat with a spray in bedliner by ford.
Living in Canada and having lots of snow, slush and general grime around.
Currently no dividers, but might make some DIY ones soon.

Will be using it to transport bicycles, camping gear, firewood and other things that make a mess.

I have a 2023 EB with over 50k miles and new 2025 Hybrid, both with spray in bedliners. Both are very rough on the knees climbing in and out, and I still have issues with hard plastic items sliding in the bed (5gal pails of material I haul for work, coolers, etc).

I have a 2025 Mav and I camp with it about 5 times a year. I worry about the firewood I load up with every trip and a bed mat would relieve a lot of my worry about damaging the bed.
I'd love to install one soon!

I have a 22' Mav XLT with a drop-in hard plastic liner that allows everything to slide around if I don't tie it down five ways from Sunday. I use an old bed comforter, but I really need a mat that dampens the noise of stuff rattling around on the hard plastic and helps them stay in place. I'm your typical semi-retired guy that hauls home improvement stuff around: tools, wood, mulch and soil bags, buckets, pails and cans ...etc. I also go three-season camping and fishing a lot (what else can I do with all this spare time)?

P.S. - I do a lot of Product Test reports for various manufacturers. My part time gig is performing Quality Control and Existing Condition Assessments, so I am very analytically critical (just ask my wife!).
