Does anyone want to program my 2022 Maverick. I live in Southwest New Hampshire, near Massachusetts and Vermont. I am about ready to give up on this cruise control thing and put back in my old switches.

Just got my XL Hybrid cruise programmed today. Can't say it was easy but not impossible. I had never used an OBD adaptor or Forscan, give me a distributor with points and gas engine with one or more carburetors and I can make it run great. Took some patience and trial and error. After getting the OBD Adaptor I could not get it to work but after reading the instructions about needing to download a driver it worked. Took several times to figure out how to access different modules and make changes (and finally found I had to save the changes) it works. I'm older and more hands on and truthfully don't read/follow instructions well... my bad. Now everything is working!

The logistics won't allow me to do it for you but don't give up. Just did mine yesterday. If the switches are in, you've done the hard part. Go to You Tube and search FORScan Maverick XL Cruise Control. There are many really good videos. For me, that wasn't enough. I had to also look up How to Change Codes using FORScan.

It does make a difference what cable you get. I got this one "FORScan ELM327 OBD2 USB Adapter for Windows, Diagnostic Coding Tool with MS-CAN/HS-CAN Switch for Ford Lincoln Mazda Mercury Series Vehicles" on Amazon.

You can do it.

After 20 months of using my FORScan enabled cruise control, I took my truck into my dealer for some recall work and when I got it back, cruise control no longer worked. Of course the dealer didn't do anything to cause this change.

MY question really related to changes in FORScan since I made this change. I go in and save a copy of the AS BUILT module files before I make my changes. But after doing that, then ,making my changes, when I try to save changes in FORScan it is telling me I am updating the AS BUILT file which I do not want to do. Anyone have any pointers? I've tried the FORScan Forum but can't get the answer I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance.

Put a post in the Forscan forum to see if anyone in your area can do it.
