I bough 100 shares of stock on Monday AM as I thought this might could help me using the x plan. Later found out that stock ownership no longer works for the x plan I(stopped in June 2022). Later found out my employer is a partner company and I have the code or whatever it is to get a PIN. In any case, stock price jumped ~ 9% since I purchased the 100 shares so I may just cash in today and take the $100 (minus taxes of course) and call myself dumb lucky.

While the x plan does not really save that much and it does have restrictions (like arbitration vs lawsuits, which is likely why Ford offers this anyway, they save money avoiding lawsuits), the dealer I am waiting for a 2023 on had $599 doc fee and I think it will save a little more than the Farm Bureau $500 discount.

I can tell you X Plan on a XLT Hybrid that was spec'd out to $28,845 was a whole $452.32.

These are so cheap that the discount isn't all that much. Honestly saving on the dealer fee's is the bigger part.

Even with D plan I'm only saving about $1,400

I'm using A-plan, and saving a little over $1,400 off MSRP on an XLT with luxury package.

Still the best deal out there, assuming your dealer will use an allocation on an A-plan purchase.
