I'm new to this forum and I don't have my Maverick Lariat yet (build date 09/02), but I've been reading a lot of the forum (you guys are awesome) and looking for reveiws for the Worksport AL3. I found some older posts about Worksport, but those were before they had the hardcover tonneau. I'm assuming it's new as I haven't found reviews, other than their website, about it. I'm just wondering if anyone here has it. They have a sale right now and I'm interested, but wanted some real word reviews about it. From their FB posts, it looks like a lot of people are taking the plunge, but they probably haven't received it yet.

Did you end up buying it? I am looking at it also because I like the low profile and no rails to install.
I did buy it and I love it! Although I saw a lot of ads on Facebook, there hasn't been much info in this forum at the time I was thinking of the purchase. It was easy to install as I watched various YouTube install videos. I would say to watch them because it makes the printed instructions easier to understand. They say it's best to have 2 people, but 1 person can do it. There are no rails to install, just a couple of retainers (clamps) and a couple of brackets you install by the tailgate that are used to lock the cover to the Maverick's bed rail. It is low profile, which makes it look attractive to me.

I gambled and bought the tonneau cover before I got the truck because of a sale, so I'm happy with my purchase. There are discount codes they offer for their website, but the discounted price is similar to what you see on Amazon.

They do offer a newer Al4 cover hard cover now. The difference is the newer one opens all the way up, where the Al3 opens 2/3 of the way.

Ordered it, installed it, and it leaks terribly. Worksport sent a sealer to try for the gaps in the bed rails. It didn't work. But I could fill those. The real issue was water would run under the foam seals at the hinges and corners. They don;t work well with the rubber seals and the cover is so light weight it doesn't compress the foam to seal. Hope you have better luck. I am getting a RMA to return it and will buy a cheap China one or possible a Rough Country.
I didn't have any problems with leakage from the time I installed it to recently. What changed recently is that Worksport advised they had better retainers (the part that holds the cover to the bed) and were sending free replacements. These were a little bit bigger, but didn't really see why I needed to change them. I did, but now when I wash my truck, water gets in.

Maybe I had it lined up perfectly (I'm usually the one that has problems) initially, but now it gets wet. Not too much, but still. I haven't had time to play around with it, but maybe if I adjust it again, it will be better? Sorry to hear about your problems. Rough Country is a good one.
