Will changing from hybrid to 2.0 delay my order?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I have an unscheduled XL hybrid order originally placed 9/2022, and the rollover order placed 7/2023. I asked the dealer to change this unscheduled order from a hybrid to the 2.0 Ecoboost but he says that will delay my order. Assuming my order # and name are not changed is this true?
Looking for facts from members in the know. Not looking for guesses cuz I can already do that.

It all depends on your dealer's allocation.

Assuming your dealer still has allocations, the XL trim level is your most likely build delay.
