I do like the idea of this. I heard this is how Tesla has been doing it...made to order. It's almost like ordering an apple product or something similar. I'm sure there's pros and cons to both but I will say it seems more consumer friendly to know exactly how much a product costs. Seems more transparent than what dealers do sometimes with the bait and switch. The worst feeling is to buy something and then realize you got ripped off.
