Weird Audio Hum/Rattle

So about a month ago when the newest radio update I came out I updated one evening. The next day when I was on my way to work I turn on a podcast and I had a very noticeable hum that was in time with what the person on the podcast was saying, its very annoying. After work I expected the same, its still there but not as noticeable. Weird. Next morning, the loud rattle is back, keeping time with the music. That afternoon, its much better again.

I've tried to locate the source of the hum but I think its coming from inside the door, it almost is like I have a busted speaker but I don't think I do. Its weird that it happens more in the morning than the afternoon as well. I live in the south so its not like its much colder in the morning than it is in the evening. It could be coincidental that this started happening after the update and it's not related to that at all but the timing is weird.

Has anyone else experienced this?

@Rojo Could you explain how you got the update for your radio. I check from time to time to see if there are any updates for my XLT and it always says none available. Is this something you can put on a USB stick and download to the radio?

It just popped up one day when I got home, it connected to my wifi and said an update was available.

yes what did they do for you they said was creating it

You might need to check for updates more than once for it to show up.
