WeatherTech Tailgate Cover.

I ordered a WeatherTech cover for my tailgate. I could not get it to fit correctly. It seemed to be too tall but wide enough. Has anyone ever installed one?

Also, I have a Lariat with the factory-sprayed bed liner Do I really need the cover? I did install the WeatherTech bed liner.
